We are not competitive because we feel truly that our product is the most outstanding in the industry. With that being said, some other web providers publish FAQ's. We believe it's their way to justify what they do, or perhaps make excuses for what they can't do!
Here's our twist on frequently asked questions...
How safe is my website if I am a client of UVS?
Our client sites work off 9 servers all of which are a terabyte each. Why? Because of the thousands of folders of data we have to support. We run one server just for our video. Three for data with balancers and redundant switches. One for your email. One for your graphics. And three more, just in case! We have mirrored servers in London England just in case anything horrific should happen to our servers here in the states. We pride on performance. Each of our servers has its own role and that's why when you open one of our client sites they snap opened unlike other providers out there that "load" pages. Needless to say, when you are a client of UVS, you're safe!
We are guessing that other providers out there do not run off the same server setup. They don't need to because they don't have a tenth of the data and video we have. There is no way we could ever run off one server...we're too big!
How long will it take before our site is ready?
In most cases our new client sites are up and running in five days or less. How can we do this? It's not rocket science when you are doing it yourself. It will certainly take 2 to 8 weeks when you are farming stuff out and depending on third party companies to provide you with your requests. Other providers have to listen to your needs first, then present it to their sub contractor...wasted time. With us, you tell us what you need and BAM, microwave speed and it's done.
Will my sales increase when we are a UVS client?
Absolutely! We give you all the tools you need to dominate the industry. We are constantly working on creative ways to generate leads and performance is at the highest standards. Many of our tools are a result of our dealer clients presenting ideas. We take the ideas and typically within days release their idea as a "new product of UVS."
What will you get for your monthly website fee?
TONS! Other providers may charge the same amount as we do...but with us you pay one monthly fee without any up charges ever because remember we do not farm anything out so we don't have to pay third party vendors. We'll build you banners, upload video, do pretty much anything you want as often as you want and never bill you for it. Besides all your edits and management being included you also have access to our thousands of floor plans, hundreds of videos, and miles of data all of which are maintained daily to always insure accuracy.
Can I maintain my website from any location at any time?
Absolutely! You can manage from any browser, any smartphone, any tablet, anywhere, anytime!
What about SEO?
SEO is not magic and many will make promises. We don't promise, we deliver! We give you all the tools internally to insure your placement. Our clients dominate the engines and it's all because of our platform and what's under the hood. Many have tried to duplicate our method. For us, it's a science...
Why UVS?
Ask the 200 RV Dealer locations we are servicing. Our platform makes sense. We're innovative. We've built and own our software. Most importantly, we deliver new products every day. We are a family owned business with an amazing team. Our offices are located in Winter Springs Florida and most importantly we never farm any work out. We have a PHP Development Team on location. A Graphics Leader. Data Entry Team Leader. A fully equipped Media Department with our own in house Green Room fully loaded with the best equipment available.
We answer the phones Monday through Friday from 8:00 am through 9:00 pm eastern time....7:00 am through 11:00 pm eastern time 7 days a week for emergencies. Our clients have our cell phone numbers. We carry tablets with us so we can be "on call" always. We're 200 strong, and growing!
What about cost?
We don't farm out the work so there aren't a million hidden charges. We cannot measure up charging based on your individual needs. We complete all requests always. We don't have an "average monthly cost", we have a "solid monthly cost". $695.00 pays for everything. Our clients range from one location to seven. From 50 RV's on their lot to over a 1,000. They all pay the same. They're equal in our eyes.
It doesn't cost any provider any more or any less to service you based on your individual needs or size, so if you've heard or read that, it's bogus. Quite frankly, running your site costs us pennies a day. What costs us money is maintaining and continuously updating your available data. That is why we have a monthly fee.
Ask any other provider to explain their expenses and to justify a three to six hundred dollar a month service charge. How are they servicing you? What are they providing other than hosting? Our products and continued updates are justified!
Explain your Video Platform, how does it work?
For those that may not know, UVS was the first website platform in the industry to introduce video to RV Dealer sites. In the beginning it was a battle because computers ran slow and most manufacturers did not have video to offer. Our relentless hard work drove manufacturers to think out of the box and start developing video. Our archives go back to 2004. Our library is amazing because even your used inventory can have video attached.
My have we grown over the years. We've continued to improve our presentation to get to where we are today.
Our video platform works on the same logic as YouTube. How does it work? The video skin lives on your website. The actual video lives on our video server. A video is called from the server and publishes within your skin. Our clients have the ability to now download their own video right into their console and publish video on any page(s) they choose. With that being said, our video formatting allows viewing on any device. Truly state of the art.
Other providers out there have YouTube video(s) embedded on their clients homepage. They'll try to convince dealers that having a YouTube video on their homepage will help with their social networking. NO IT WON'T. The only time any third party link will help any site is when visitors click FROM the social networking site TO your site. The reason why other providers embed YouTube videos onto their clients homepage is because they don't know how to do what we do.
Our video loads automatically. This means if you create a new listing (or your DMS software feeds a new listing) for a 2011 Keystone Cougar our data base will automatically assign that video to that piece of inventory. This method took years of development and works seamlessly.
Our video platform also gives you the opportunity to have multiple videos on one piece of inventory. Even video overlays. Our video platform is unlike any other in the industry and we are light years ahead of many out there.
